The Runnymede Boathouse,
Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world, is one of the official residences of Her Majesty The Queen of England. The Castle's dramatic site encapsulates 900 years of British history. It covers an area of 26 acres and contains, as well as a royal palace, a magnificent chapel and the homes and workplaces of a large number of people.

In 1215, King John came to Runnymede in order to place his seal on the Magna Carta. This has proven to be one of the most significant events in history. Many of the World’s constitutions have been based on this historic document, including the United States of America.
In 2015 the world celebrates its’ 800th anniversary. Bring your group to Runnymede in 2015 and we will show them the sights. There are 3 memorials to see as well as many other points of interest - all will be highlighted in a special commentary.
